Are you looking to kick-start your career in IT and gain real-world experience in a technical environment? We have an exciting opportunity for an IT Infrastructure Apprentice to join our growing team in Bolton.

Duties:

Assist with the installation, configuration and maintenance of IT hardware and software.

Support users with technical issues across desktops, laptops, printers and mobile devices.

Help monitor network performance and resolve connectivity issues.

Carry out routine system maintenance and software updates.

Assist with user account creation, password management and access permissions.

Support cloud-based services, including Microsoft 365 and business applications.

Learn about network infrastructure, servers, virtualisation and cybersecurity.

Maintain IT documentation and update asset management records.

We are looking for someone with a genuine passion for technology and IT infrastructure, who enjoys troubleshooting technical issues and finding practical solutions. You should be eager to learn new technologies and develop your technical knowledge, with an interest in networking, cloud computing, cybersecurity or system administration. Excellent communication and customer service skills are essential, along with being organised, proactive and able to prioritise tasks. You should be able to work well independently and as part of a team.

Successful completion of the apprenticeship may lead to a permanent full-time role, subject to performance and business needs.
