About the role

This apprenticeship offers an exciting opportunity to join the finance team at THALES UK LIMITED in Templecombe. The role provides hands-on experience in various finance activities, including supporting daily tasks, resolving timesheet queries, preparing financial reports, assisting with cost and overhead reporting, budget planning, and financial reconciliations. The apprentice will also support project finance activities and conduct data analysis. Upon successful completion of the Level 2 apprenticeship, there is an expectation to progress to higher-level learning and a Level 3 Assistant Accountant role within the finance team. The training involves studying towards a Level 2 Accounts Assistant Apprenticeship (12 months) followed by a Level 3 Assistant Accountant (15 months) with The Apprentice Academy via a virtual training program, leading to AAT Level 2 and Level 3 qualifications.

Entry requirements

  • 5 GCSEs incl. Maths and English (9-4 or A-C), IT skills, Number skills, Analytical skills, Logical thinking, Team working ability.
