Deputy Nursery Manager - LV5 Apprentice

About the role

This Level 5 Early Years Lead Apprenticeship offers an exciting opportunity to develop into a Deputy Manager while working in a professional early year setting. You will gain hands-on leadership experience, support day-to-day nursery operations, and help deliver high-quality care and education for children. Duties include ensuring regulatory compliance, delivering outstanding care, supporting and leading staff, building positive relationships with parents and external agencies, managing budgets, and maintaining high standards of care, learning, and safeguarding in line with the EYFS. The role also involves overseeing planning, assessment, and inclusion practices, ensuring children's safety, recruiting and training staff, managing operational costs, promoting reflective practice, and building strong partnerships within the local community. You will also be responsible for managing complaints, inspections, nursery administration, and supporting disciplinary processes.
