About the role

Embark on a career in engineering with Thales UK Limited's Systems Engineering Apprenticeship in Crawley. This degree apprenticeship offers a blend of academic study and practical experience, allowing you to develop the technical knowledge, skills, and professional behaviors needed to become a Systems Engineer. You will support the delivery of complex systems and equipment solutions, contribute to project reviews, participate in testing and validation, and assist with engineering investigations. The program includes learning about professional engineering practices, complex systems, the Systems Engineering Lifecycle, requirements capture, and testing. Upon completion, you will qualify and become a permanent member of the Thales team, with the potential to work towards becoming a Chartered Engineer.

Entry requirements

  • 5 GCSEs incl. Maths & English (A-C or 9-4) and A Level Maths and a further STEM subject (BB minimum of 112 UCAS points). Essential skills include communication, IT, attention to detail, organisation, problem-solving, administration, numeracy, analytical thinking, logic, and teamwork.
