Actuarial - Capital Markets Group

About the role

As part of the Capital Market Group team within Actuarial, you will be involved in mathematically complex and programming-based roles within actuarial and banking work. This requires high levels of quantitative skills to solve challenging problems for clients. The role focuses on research and development, including the enhancement of Deloitte’s economic scenario modelling suite, XSG, used for probability determination. You will also participate in projects with the wider life insurance team, gaining broad actuarial experience. The team serves clients across life and general insurance, asset managers, and banks, with past projects including mergers and acquisitions advisory, accounting transformations, and modelling impacts of credit markets, operations, and sustainability/climate change risks.
