About the role

Start your career with a growing glass recycling business! URM (UK) LIMITED is seeking a Business Support Apprentice to join their team in Pontefract. This role offers hands-on experience, structured career development, and the chance to learn from industry experts in a supportive and fast-paced environment.

The apprentice will support colleagues daily by managing emails and calendars, maintaining records, processing orders, supporting company activities, and communicating with stakeholders. The role is varied and busy, requiring strong organisational, adaptable, and time management skills to handle changing priorities and unexpected tasks effectively.

URM (UK) LIMITED has been trading for over 100 years and is the UK’s largest purchaser and recycler of waste glass. They have exciting plans for growth through investment in new technology and foster a culture where all ideas are valued, with a proven track record for employee training, development, and promotion. Two out of the last four people in similar roles have progressed within the business, with one now managing marketing and the other as People Development Manager, both of whom will mentor and guide the successful applicant.
