About the role
Join Porsche Centre South London as a Vehicle Technician Apprentice and embark on a journey to become a Porsche-qualified Technician. This Level 3 apprenticeship will train you in all areas of vehicle mechanics and electronics, from engine and exhaust systems to air conditioning and security features. You will develop an understanding of workshop equipment, advise service receptionists on required repairs, produce time estimates, and maintain repair and service records.
This program lasts for at least 36 months (3 years) and you will achieve a nationally recognised Level 3 Motor Vehicle Service and Maintenance Technician (Light Vehicle) qualification. You will be employed by Porsche Retail Group Ltd and attend weeklong block training at the Calex UK Training Academy in Slough, complemented by regular coaching visits, Virtual Classroom sessions, and E-Learning modules. Upon successful completion, you will have the foundation to progress your career within Porsche's expanding dealer network, with opportunities to advance to Master Technician roles. By the end of the apprenticeship, you will be expected to hold a full driving licence and have obtained a certificate meeting the EU's 2014 F-gas regulation.
