King Street Dental Care is seeking an Apprentice Dental Nurse for an 18-month government-funded course by City & Guilds, leading to a Level 3 Extended Diploma. This role involves assisting dentists, sterilizing equipment, reception duties, and enhancing patient experience. Key responsibilities include providing efficient chairside support, maintaining high standards of patient care, confidentiality, and GDPR compliance. Daily tasks encompass welcoming patients, scheduling appointments, handling enquiries, preparing surgeries, assisting during treatments, updating patient records, managing stock, and ensuring clinical areas are clean and safe. Upholding patient privacy and collaborating with the team are paramount. Upon completion, career progression opportunities include Senior Dental Nurse, Lead Nurse, Treatment Coordinator, Practice Manager, or further development into Dental Hygienist, Dental Therapist, or Orthodontic Therapist roles.
