About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for an Apprentice Dental Nurse to join a friendly and supportive dental team at Newquay Dental. No prior experience is necessary as full training and mentoring will be provided. The role involves assisting qualified dental professionals in a variety of treatments, ensuring patient comfort, preparing treatment rooms, sterilizing equipment, and maintaining accurate patient records. Key responsibilities include supporting dentists, preparing materials, cleaning instruments, adhering to health and safety policies, and assisting with administrative duties. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, reliable, and possess a positive attitude, with basic IT skills. Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, there are numerous career progression pathways, including specialist dental nursing, dental radiography, practice management, and further education in dental hygiene.

Entry requirements
