About the role
This is a fantastic opportunity to join WM MORRISON SUPERMARKETS P L C as a Butcher Apprentice as part of their Proper Jobs: Fresh Start Programme. This Level 2 Apprenticeship will equip you with the skills and knowledge to excel in butchery. You'll begin with 13 weeks as a Customer Assistant, gaining valuable retail experience, before transitioning to a 12-month butchery apprenticeship. During this time, you will learn essential knife skills for preparing meat, understand different animal species, and master techniques for processing meat products. This role offers a pathway to a rewarding career in retail, with the potential to progress to the Sir Ken Morrison Leadership School.
