About the role

We have a great opportunity for an Administration Assistant Apprentice to join a friendly team in the heart of Walsall where you will work with an experienced team of professionals who support the local community with support projects.

Roles and Responsibilities include providing a polite and efficient reception service, directing calls, responding to enquiries, and taking messages. You will also provide administrative and clerical support, maintain information systems and filing, and use office equipment.

Additionally, you will attend staff meetings to take minutes, prepare and circulate meeting agendas, send out Board papers, and confirm meeting arrangements. You will record clear, accurate, and impartial minutes, maintain an organised archive of meeting documents, and ensure all documents are stored securely and accessible for audit, regulatory, and governance purposes.

Confidentiality and adherence to the Data Protection Act are paramount. You will undertake relevant training, participate in team meetings and supervision sessions, and work within all organisational policies and procedures, paying particular attention to Equal Opportunities, Child Protection, and Health and Safety Regulations. Any other duties within the scope of the job grade may also be assigned.
