About the role

This apprenticeship offers a fantastic opportunity to become a qualified Dental Nurse at The Dental Surgery Group - Cambridge Smile Studio. You will provide essential chairside support to clinicians, ensuring high standards of patient care, confidentiality, and GDPR compliance. Daily duties include preparing surgeries, sterilising instruments, maintaining infection control, assisting during treatments, accurately updating patient records, supporting patient comfort, managing stock, and upholding patient privacy. This role requires excellent communication, organisational, and IT skills, along with attention to detail and a patient, non-judgemental attitude. Upon successful completion, you can progress to Senior Dental Nurse, Lead Nurse, Treatment Coordinator, or Practice Manager roles, or further specialize in areas like Dental Hygiene or Orthodontic Therapy.
