About the role
Sefton Council's Procurement Team is seeking a motivated Apprentice Procurement Assistant to join them for a 21-month program. This apprenticeship offers the opportunity to gain practical experience in sourcing, procurement, and supplier management while studying for a Level 4 Procurement & Supply Chain qualification. You will learn to navigate the Procurement Act 2023 and the Council's Contracts Procedure Rules, support various procurement exercises, and assist in contract preparation. The role involves developing operational knowledge, undertaking RFQ and ITT exercises, and learning to use evaluation matrices.
Entry requirements
- GCSE English and Mathematics Grade C or above, or equivalent.
