About the role

This apprenticeship offers a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to gain professional marketing skills and hands-on experience in a busy car dealership. The role involves creating engaging content for social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok), producing short-form videos and walkarounds of vehicles, writing compelling vehicle descriptions, and assisting with website content and basic SEO. You'll also help develop email marketing campaigns, monitor marketing effectiveness, and research competitors. On the sales side, you will respond to customer enquiries, communicate with customers online and via phone, qualify potential buyers, follow up on leads, arrange appointments and test drives, maintain customer records, and learn the full sales process. This is an excellent opportunity for someone ambitious with a genuine interest in cars, sales, and social media who wants to build a career in automotive sales and marketing. The training will be delivered face-to-face by Whyy? Change Limited at New York Stadium, Rotherham, with marketing knowledge and skills developed over three structured modules.

Entry requirements

  • GCSE English grade 4 or above, GCSE Maths grade 4 or above. Skills: Communication, Attention to detail, Organisation, Customer care, Creativity, Initiative, Reliability, Positive attitude, Enthusiasm, Competitiveness, Not camera shy.
