About the role
This is an 18-month government-funded apprenticeship for a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Dental Nursing, delivered by City & Guilds and Tempdent. As an Apprentice Dental Nurse at The Dental Design Studio in Cromer, you will gain practical experience assisting dentists, sterilizing equipment, performing reception duties, and enhancing the patient experience. You will be responsible for efficient chairside support, maintaining high standards of patient care, confidentiality, and GDPR compliance. Daily tasks include welcoming patients, handling enquiries, preparing surgeries, sterilizing instruments, assisting during treatments, updating patient records, managing stock, and ensuring clinical areas are clean and safe. The role emphasizes upholding patient privacy and dignity, and collaborating with the dental team to provide high-quality care.
