About the role

Heath Street Dental is offering an exciting opportunity for an Apprentice Dental Nurse in North West London. This 18-month government-funded course, delivered by City & Guilds, leads to a Level 3 Extended Diploma. As an apprentice, you will gain hands-on experience assisting dentists, sterilizing equipment, handling reception duties, and enhancing the patient experience. Your role will involve providing efficient chairside support, maintaining high standards of patient care, confidentiality, and GDPR compliance. Key responsibilities include welcoming patients, managing appointments, preparing surgeries, assisting clinicians, and updating patient records. You will also be involved in stock management and ensuring clinical areas are clean and safe. Upon completion, you can progress to roles such as Senior Dental Nurse, Lead Nurse, Treatment Coordinator, or Practice Manager. Further training can lead to becoming a Dental Hygienist or Dental Therapist.
