About the role
Hassockmoor Childcare is seeking an energetic, caring, and passionate apprentice to join their team as an Early Years Practitioner. This role involves providing support and committed care to young children, assisting in their learning and development through play-based activities. The apprentice will be involved in setting up activities, preparing snacks, assisting with personal care, and contributing to the day-to-day running of the nursery. Building positive relationships with parents and carers is also a key aspect of the role. High-class training will be provided in all areas of the nursery to support the apprenticeship. Successful candidates will be subject to a DBS check. Public transport in Somerset can be limited, so candidates should consider their travel arrangements.
Entry requirements
- GCSE English and Maths at grade 4. Desired skills include communication, attention to detail, organisation, customer care, problem-solving, teamwork, creativity, patience, caring attitude, reliability, and flexibility.
