About the role

An exciting opportunity to start or continue your childcare career with Parenta Training, working within a welcoming early years setting. Gain hands-on experience supporting children aged 0-5 whilst working towards a Level 2 Early Years Practitioner qualification and developing valuable skills for a rewarding career.

Duties include supporting children's learning and development through play, assisting in creating a safe and stimulating environment, supporting children's care routines, well-being, and independence, building positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, observing children's progress and contributing to development records, promoting equality, inclusion, and positive behaviour, following safeguarding, child protection, health and safety, and confidentiality procedures, reporting any concerns regarding a child's welfare, and working as part of a team to provide high-quality care and education. Applicants must have a genuine passion for working with children and be committed to completing their apprenticeship qualification. This role involves regular contact with children and may include regulated activity. The successful candidate will be expected to fulfil safeguarding and child protection responsibilities and maintain professional conduct at all times. Successful apprentices may be offered a permanent position and have the opportunity to progress onto the Level 3 Early Years Educator Apprenticeship.
