About the role

An exciting opportunity to start or continue your childcare career with Parenta Training, working within a welcoming early years setting. Gain hands-on experience supporting children aged 0-5 whilst working towards a Level 2 Early Years Practitioner qualification and developing valuable skills for a rewarding career. Duties include supporting children's learning and development through play, assisting in creating a safe and stimulating environment, supporting children's care routines, well-being, and independence. You will build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, observe children's progress, and contribute to development records. The role also involves promoting equality, inclusion, and positive behaviour, following safeguarding and health & safety procedures, and reporting any concerns regarding a child's welfare. You will work as part of a team to provide high-quality care and education. Communication, attention to detail, organisation, customer care, problem-solving, presentation, number, logical thinking, teamwork, creativity, initiative, non-judgemental attitude, and patience are essential skills. Successful apprentices may progress to Level 3.
