About the role

Join Allen Omoda Jaecoo Northampton as an Autocare Technician Apprentice and be part of a fast-paced, innovative automotive environment. You will work alongside qualified Technicians, gaining hands-on experience in the investigation, repair, and servicing of vehicles. Key duties include producing estimates, performing routine maintenance, conducting component inspections, and replacing parts across various vehicle systems such as tyres, brakes, steering, and electrical systems. You will also undertake general technical duties, maintain housekeeping standards, and provide excellent customer service. The apprenticeship leads to the Autocare Technician Apprenticeship Standard at level 2, with opportunities for further development to become a master technician and MOT tester.

Entry requirements

  • GCSE English and Maths at grade 3 or above, strong communication, IT, attention to detail, organisational, customer care, problem-solving, analytical, logical, and team working skills.
