About the role
Embark on a rewarding career as an Apprentice Dental Nurse with Simply One Dental. This 18-month government-funded course, leading to a Level 3 Extended Diploma from City & Guilds, will equip you with the skills to assist dentists, sterilise equipment, manage reception duties, and enhance patient experience. You will ensure high standards of patient care, confidentiality, and GDPR compliance. Daily duties include preparing surgeries, sterilising instruments, assisting clinicians, updating patient records, and maintaining a safe clinical environment. Upon completion, progression opportunities include Senior Dental Nurse, Lead Nurse, Treatment Coordinator, Practice Manager, or further specialisation into Dental Hygiene, Dental Therapy, or Orthodontic Therapy.
Entry requirements
- GCSE Maths and English at grade 4 or above. Desired skills include administrative, analytical, attention to detail, customer care, initiative, IT, logical thinking, patience, problem-solving, and teamwork.
