About the role

This is an 18-month government-funded Level 3 Extended Diploma apprenticeship in Dental Nursing offered by City & Guilds. As an Apprentice Dental Nurse, you will assist dentists, sterilize and prepare equipment, handle reception duties, and support the patient experience. Rodericks Dental Partners is a clinically led organization that values learning, teamwork, and career development. You will gain real responsibility from day one, supporting dentists and specialists in a patient-focused setting, assisting with surgery setup and equipment, ensuring accurate documentation, and adhering to practice policies and safeguarding guidelines. Upon completion, you can progress to roles like Senior Dental Nurse, Lead Nurse, or Practice Manager. Further qualifications as a Dental Hygienist or Dental Therapist, or specialization as an Orthodontic Therapist, are also possible with support from Rodericks Dental Partners.

Entry requirements

  • GCSE Maths grade 4 and GCSE English grade 4. Strong administrative, analytical, communication, IT, organizational, and problem-solving skills are desired.
