About the role
JUNIOR VIPS NURSERY LIMITED is offering a Level 3 Early Years Educator Apprenticeship at their nursery located at 32 Oakfield Road, Croydon, CR0 2UA. This apprenticeship, lasting 1 year and 2 months, focuses on providing children with an excellent range of learning activities while ensuring their safety and well-being. The role involves supporting children's learning and development through planning and observations, preparing and maintaining the learning environment and resources, and assisting with meal preparation. Apprentices will develop creativity, enthusiasm, and attention to detail, adhering to safeguarding rules and health/hygiene standards. The training provider is SWIFT ACI, with training primarily conducted in the workplace, supplemented by online classroom sessions for the initial 8 weeks. Upon successful completion, there is potential for a full-time position and opportunities for career progression into roles such as Room Leader, management training, or further development within the early years sector. The nursery cares for children aged 3 months to 5 years and operates 8 am-6 pm, 51 weeks a year.
Entry requirements
- GCSE Maths and English (Grade 4/C or equivalent) are essential. IT skills, attention to detail, problem-solving skills, logical thinking, teamwork, creativity, initiative, and patience are also required.
