(Qualified Level 2) Nursery Assistant Apprenticeship opportunity, Morden, SM4

About the role

This is an apprenticeship opportunity for a Nursery Assistant at Forest Village Kindergarten Ltd in Morden. As an apprentice, you will gain hands-on experience in providing education, care, and support to children aged 0-5 years, both indoors and outdoors. Key responsibilities include assisting in the daily care and supervision of children in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), supporting their personal, social, emotional, and educational development through play-based activities, and helping to plan and prepare stimulating activities. You will also maintain a safe and clean environment, assist with mealtimes and toileting, observe and record children's progress, build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, and participate in training. The role requires an Early Years Practitioner Level 2 Childcare qualification or equivalent, along with good communication, attention to detail, organisation, and teamwork skills. Upon completion, there is an opportunity to progress to a team leader position. A DBS check is required.
