About the role

This apprenticeship offers a fantastic opportunity to become an Apprentice Service Advisor within the automotive sector, specializing in Ford & Slater DAF trucks. You will be the primary point of contact for customers visiting the service department. Your responsibilities will include managing service bookings, scheduling workshop jobs, providing customers with accurate updates on service and repair progress, and ensuring a consistently high level of customer satisfaction throughout their experience. The role involves handling customer inquiries via phone and in person, liaising with technicians, preparing essential service documents like job cards and invoices, and maintaining detailed records. This position is ideal for someone with strong communication, IT, and organizational skills who is eager to develop excellent customer care and administrative abilities within a dynamic workshop environment. Upon completion, you will be a fully qualified Service Advisor, ready to take on full responsibility for customer interactions and workshop coordination.

Entry requirements

  • GCSE English and Maths at grade 4 or above. Strong communication, IT, attention to detail, organisation, customer care, administrative, team working, initiative, and patience skills are essential.
