About the role

Embark on an exciting career path as an Autocare Technician Apprentice at Halfords Autocentre Doncaster. This Level 2 apprenticeship offers hands-on experience in all aspects of vehicle maintenance and repair, from routine servicing to complex diagnostics. You will gain practical skills in identifying vehicle faults using diagnostic equipment, testing parts and systems, carrying out thorough vehicle inspections, and maintaining electronic systems. As part of the role, you will also be responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction through efficient and accurate work, while maintaining a clean and organized work environment. The apprenticeship provides exposure to a wide range of vehicle technologies, including traditional, hybrid, and electronic engines, offering a varied technical training experience. We are looking for enthusiastic, detail-oriented individuals with problem-solving skills and a passion for the automotive industry. Prior experience in the motor industry, such as a Level 1 qualification or similar work experience, is desirable. Excellent communication, teamwork, and customer service skills are essential. Upon successful completion, you will receive a Level 2 Apprenticeship Standard in Autocare Technician, along with various industry certifications and progression opportunities towards a Level 3 apprenticeship.
