About the role

This Level 2 Equine Groom Apprentice position at Home Farm Stables offers a hands-on opportunity to develop practical skills in horse care, riding, and exercise. Responsibilities include riding and exercising horses, feeding, carrying out daily horse care routines, grooming, tacking up, and turning horses. You will also assist with exercise and fitness programmes, maintain clean and tidy stables and yard areas, and carry out general yard duties. The role emphasizes ensuring horses are cared for to a high standard, following health and safety procedures, and working as part of a wider yard team. Essential skills include communication, attention to detail, organization, and a passion for horses. Upon successful completion, there may be opportunities to progress to a Level 3 qualification or full-time employment.
