About the role

Bright Beginnings is seeking two enthusiastic Childcare Apprentices to join their friendly and supportive nursery team in Watford. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a busy early years environment while studying towards an Early Years Practitioner apprenticeship at Level 2 or 3, depending on your existing qualifications and experience.

You will work alongside experienced practitioners, supporting children's learning, development, and well-being. Key responsibilities include building positive relationships with children and their families, preparing engaging activities, and contributing to a safe and stimulating environment. You will learn how to plan activities, support individual needs, and promote positive behaviour and independence.

Daily tasks involve assisting with the care and development of children, setting up age-appropriate activities, supporting children during play, and aiding with daily routines such as mealtimes and rest periods. You will also build professional relationships with colleagues, parents, and carers, help maintain a clean and safe environment, and observe children's development to share insights with the team. The role also involves supporting safeguarding procedures and contributing to a nurturing and inclusive atmosphere. Apprentices will attend training and complete all required learning activities as part of the program.
