About the role
This is an 18-month government-funded Level 3 Extended Diploma apprenticeship in Dental Nursing, delivered by City & Guilds. The role involves assisting dentists, sterilising equipment, performing reception duties, and supporting the patient experience. Key responsibilities include providing chairside support, ensuring high standards of patient care, confidentiality, and GDPR compliance. You will welcome patients, handle enquiries, prepare surgeries, assist clinicians, update patient records, and maintain clean clinical areas. This role offers clear progression routes within the dental sector, with opportunities to become a Senior Dental Nurse, Practice Manager, Dental Hygienist, or Dental Therapist.
