About the role
This apprenticeship offers an opportunity to work with children across different age ranges in an early years setting. The apprentice will undertake a Level 2 or 3 qualification, with support provided through mentoring, study time during work hours, and encouragement for home study. Duties include adhering to setting policies, supporting children with daily routines such as nappy changes and safe eating, creating a safe and stimulating environment, and observing, planning, assessing, and reviewing children's development. The role requires a positive attitude, strong communication and teamwork skills, and a commitment to continuous professional development. Upon completion, opportunities for further study and taking on additional responsibilities, such as SEN support or supervisor roles, are available.
Entry requirements
- GCSE English and Maths at grade 4 or above.
