About the role

This apprenticeship offers a government-funded 12-month course leading to a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Dental Nursing, accredited by City & Guilds. The role involves assisting dentists with patient care, including chair-side support, sterilisation and preparation of equipment, reception duties, managing patient queries, taking payments, booking appointments, and maintaining patient records. You will also be responsible for supporting patient wellbeing, managing stock, and ensuring effective patient care alongside the dental team. Entry requirements

  • GCSE English and Maths at grade 4 or above. Strong communication, organisation, customer care, problem-solving, administrative, and teamwork skills are essential. Patience and a non-judgemental attitude are also important.
