About the role

Yarlet Academy of Little Learners is seeking a motivated individual to join them as a Nursery Room Leader Apprentice, working towards an Early Years Lead Practitioner Level 5 qualification. This role involves leading the daily operations of a nursery room, supporting children's learning and development, and ensuring a safe, nurturing environment. The apprentice will gain leadership experience, develop knowledge of child development and safeguarding, and work closely with management and practitioners. Responsibilities include planning and delivering activities, acting as a key person, observing and assessing children's progress, mentoring other staff, maintaining records, ensuring policies are followed, and creating a stimulating learning environment. The apprenticeship is a 24-month program designed to equip the apprentice with advanced skills in early childhood education.
