About the role

Provide efficient and reliable chair-side support to the dental surgery. The day-to-day duties of a dental nurse can span across all areas of the practice and can include reception, dealing with patient queries, taking payments, booking appointments, sterilising and preparing equipment, recording patient records, supporting patients' wellbeing, cleaning dental areas, and managing stock. Any other duties to support the dentists and senior team to provide effective patient care are also expected. This apprenticeship offers a clear path for career progression within the dental field, with opportunities to move into management roles or further training to become a dental therapist, hygienist, or orthodontic therapist.
