About the role

This apprenticeship offers a fantastic opportunity to train as a Dental Nurse, providing essential chair-side support within a dental surgery. The role involves a wide range of duties, including reception tasks, patient interaction, sterilising equipment, managing patient records, and supporting overall patient wellbeing. You will gain hands-on experience in a clinical environment while working towards a Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard. The training also includes functional skills if required, with approximately 7 hours of off-the-job training per week. Upon completion, there are clear career progression pathways, including opportunities to move into practice management or further specialise as a dental therapist or hygienist.
