About the role

This apprenticeship offers a fantastic opportunity to join Rainbow Friends Childcare, a vibrant and loving community dedicated to the growth and development of children aged 5 and under. As an Early Years Apprentice, you will support children's learning and development through play and daily activities, helping to create a safe and caring environment. Your responsibilities will include assisting with meal times and routines, preparing learning resources, observing children's progress, and working alongside experienced staff while completing an early years qualification. Upon successful completion, there may be opportunities to progress into a permanent Early Years Practitioner role, pursue higher-level childcare qualifications, or develop a career in nursery management, teaching assistance, or early years education. The role requires strong communication, IT, attention to detail, organisation, customer care, problem-solving, and number skills, along with being logical, a team player, creative, and able to show initiative, be non-judgemental, and patient. A Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check will be required.
