About the role
MULBERRYBUSH NURSERY LTD is seeking a Childcare Apprentice in Walshaw to join their team. The role involves carrying out activities with children, planning engaging activities, observing children's play, and ensuring all children within the setting reach their full potential. The apprentice will also be responsible for ensuring children are happy and thriving in a caring environment, safeguarding children, performing cleaning duties, and supervising snacks and lunch. The apprenticeship is for the Early Years Practitioner Level 2 Apprenticeship Standard and includes timetabled classes one day a month. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a family-run nursery group with an excellent reputation, offering outstanding childcare and continuous support and training. Successful apprentices may be considered for full-time roles upon completion.
Entry requirements
- GCSE English: C/4 or above or equivalent, GCSE Maths: C/4 or above or equivalent. Strong communication, attention to detail, organisation, customer care, problem-solving, and teamwork skills are essential. Must be creative, take initiative, be non-judgemental, patient, and physically fit.
