About the role

Ashworth Dental Practice, in partnership with Rodericks Dental Holdings Limited, is offering an exciting Level 3 Dental Nursing Apprenticeship opportunity in Manchester. This role provides comprehensive training and support to equip apprentices with the skills and knowledge needed for a successful career in dental nursing. Apprentices will gain practical experience assisting dentists, providing patient care, managing clinical areas, and maintaining records. The program combines hands-on learning at the practice with theoretical study delivered online by Aspiration Training, including regular teaching and 1-2-1 sessions. Off-the-job training will be provided during paid working hours. The apprenticeship covers essential topics such as infection control, first aid, oral health, and radiography. Upon successful completion, apprentices will be qualified to register with the General Dental Council (GDC).

Entry requirements

  • GCSE English and Mathematics at grades 4-9. Passion for the dental sector and willingness to work with patients. Hepatitis B vaccination and enhanced DBS check required.
