About the role

This apprenticeship offers a fantastic opportunity to train as a Dental Nurse with ROMSEY DENTAL CARE LIMITED. The program is a 12-month government-funded course accredited by City & Guilds, leading to a Level 3 Extended Diploma. You will gain hands-on experience assisting dentists, sterilising equipment, managing reception duties, and crucially, supporting the patient experience. Key responsibilities include chair-side support, greeting and managing patient queries, handling payments, booking appointments, maintaining patient records, ensuring the cleanliness of dental areas, and managing stock. This role requires excellent communication, organisational, and customer care skills, along with a patient and non-judgemental attitude. Upon completion, there are clear career progression pathways into roles such as dental practice manager, or further training to become a dental therapist or hygienist. The training will be delivered at the dental surgery.

Entry requirements

  • GCSE English at grade 4 or above, GCSE Maths at grade 4 or above.
