About the role

This is a four-year Supply, Trading & Shipping Degree Apprenticeship at BP, offering a Level 6 qualification aligned with the Digital and Technology Solutions standards. Apprentices will rotate through various roles within the trading business, gaining hands-on commercial experience in financial, commodity, and energy markets. The program focuses on developing commercial awareness and technical skills through training and real-world projects. Apprentices will be supported by experienced mentors, buddies, and a dedicated program management team. The role involves using data to identify trends, supporting commercial decisions, and working on operational improvement projects. The program is designed for individuals passionate about adding value to a global business, with a willingness to learn, take on challenges, and work collaboratively. The training is delivered in conjunction with a London-based provider.

Entry requirements

  • Aged 18 or over by September 2027. Due to complete A-levels or equivalent qualification in 2027. Achieved or predicted at least 120 UCAS points, including one STEM A-level (Maths, Computer Science, Physics, IT, Software Engineering, Economics) or equivalent. Achieved GCSE English and Maths at grade 4 or above, or equivalent. Must have the right to live and work in the UK and meet UK Government apprenticeship funding residency rules.
