About the role
This apprenticeship offers a fantastic opportunity to become a Nursery Nurse at Sunflower Nursery Ltd. You will be responsible for creating a fun, engaging, and safe environment for children aged 0-5, teaching within EYFS requirements, and participating in various indoor and outdoor activities. Key duties include supporting children with self-care needs like feeding and hygiene, communicating effectively with colleagues and parents, and providing a high level of service. The role requires flexibility, punctuality, teamwork, and initiative. You will work towards an Advanced Diploma Early Years qualification and complete a Paediatric First Aid certificate. Online training will be provided for the first 8 weeks, with a laptop/PC being essential for this. A full-time position may be available upon successful completion, with prospects for career progression into roles such as Room Leader or management training.
