About the role

The Continuous Improvement & Compliance Apprentice will work closely with the Head of Continuous Improvement & Compliance and the wider team to identify opportunities for improvement across the business. Duties will include supporting the identification of areas for improvement in manufacturing, warehouse, and business processes. The apprentice will assist with analyzing processes, identifying root causes, and recommending solutions, as well as helping plan, implement, and monitor continuous improvement projects using Lean tools. Data analysis to identify trends and inefficiencies will be a key part of the role. The apprentice will also support risk assessments, accident investigations, BSI and ISO audits, and monitor non-conformances to improve product quality and customer experience. Tracking project progress, communicating best practices, and encouraging a culture of continuous improvement are also expected. The role requires good communication skills, attention to detail, organization, problem-solving, and teamwork. Candidates must have GCSEs in Maths, English, and Science at grades 9-4. The apprenticeship is approximately 16 months long, including a 3-month gateway and End-Point Assessment period. The apprentice will attend In-Comm Training Services in Telford for workshops. There is a full-time opportunity to progress within Epwin Group, potentially onto an HNC Level 4 qualification, and further training and development.
