About the role

Crystal Clear Dental is offering an exciting opportunity for an Apprentice Dental Nurse to join their friendly practice in York. This role involves providing chairside support and high-level oral healthcare to patients, embarking on a rewarding career in dental nursing. The apprenticeship includes comprehensive support, development, and training, covering both practical skills at the practice and theoretical knowledge delivered by Aspiration Training online. Daily activities will include assisting dentists, providing patient care, maintaining surgeries and instruments, updating records, and adhering to practice procedures. The training covers essential aspects of dental nursing, preparing individuals for professional registration with the General Dental Council upon successful completion. This role requires a passion for the dental sector and a willingness to handle medical situations. A course of Hepatitis B vaccines and an enhanced DBS check are mandatory.

Entry requirements

  • GCSE Maths and English at grade 4-9. Communication, organisation, customer care, and teamwork skills are desired.
