Engineering Assembler Apprentice

About the role

This apprenticeship offers a fantastic opportunity to join SCHLUMBERGER OILFIELD UK PLC as an Engineering Assembler Apprentice. You will be responsible for assembling and testing electronic or mechanical products, troubleshooting issues, and accurately assembling drill products and tool assemblies. Duties include reading assembly drawings, operating assembly equipment, testing products, documenting work, performing daily 5S activities, and participating in lean manufacturing projects. You will also undertake comprehensive safety training covering various aspects from crane operation to first aid, and develop essential soldering skills. This role provides a clear career progression plan towards an Assembler/Technician role, with potential for further advancement within the company. Entry requirements

• GCSE Maths and English (grades 4-9 or C and above), attention to detail, self-motivation, and an interest in Engineering.
