About the role
An opportunity to develop a broad range of skills and gain practical experience within the cruise and commercial team at Portland Port. The apprentice will support the planning and coordination of cruise ship calls, marketing activity, visitor information, customer and stakeholder liaison, research and general commercial administration. The role involves supporting cruise ship calls, communicating with customers and stakeholders, assisting with marketing and communications, carrying out research and market analysis, and helping with commercial administration. There will be opportunities to attend meetings and industry activities, and develop practical cruise operations experience with the aim of becoming a Duty Cruise Coordinator. The apprenticeship offers a chance to take ownership of projects as experience develops.
Entry requirements
- GCSE English and Maths at grade 4, and a Pass in a Driving Licence test.
