Nursery Nurse Apprenticeship

About the role

Support the development of childcare provision by providing an excellent range of activities that ensure children learn whilst having fun. You will assist in meeting OFSTED requirements, be a team player, and provide challenging and stimulating activities for children appropriately. Responsibility for equal opportunity in delivery and supporting children's learning, development, and self-help needs are key. Be creative, enthusiastic, and follow safeguarding rules and regulations. You will attend online training for 10 days out of your 13-month apprenticeship for classroom-based learning and work within the nursery for the rest of the time with the support of a dedicated childcare assessor and a mentor within the nursery. Training will take place in the workplace. Upon successful completion, there is potential for a permanent position and career progression into Room Leader roles, management training, or opportunities in Primary Education or Paediatric nursing.

Entry requirements

• GCSE English: 4 (Essential) and strong communication, attention to detail, organisation, customer care, problem-solving, presentation, number, analytical, logical, teamwork, creative, initiative, non-judgemental, and patience skills.
