About the role

Foundation apprenticeships are introductory courses designed to help young people start their careers in the flooring industry. No prior qualifications or experience are required to apply. Apprentices will learn essential skills such as preparing floors by cleaning, levelling, and removing old materials. They will also be trained to check surface quality and finish according to specifications, adhere to health and safety procedures on site, and maintain tools and equipment. Communication with customers and supervisors is a key aspect of the role, alongside keeping work areas clean and organised. Upon completion, apprentices can progress to a full Level 2 apprenticeship and gain valuable employability skills.
