Engineering Fitter Apprentice

About the role

Ram Power, a specialist engineering company, is seeking an enthusiastic Engineering Fitter Apprentice to join their team in Dunstable. This role offers hands-on experience across the complete manufacturing process of bespoke hydraulic cylinders, actuators, and dampers, serving demanding industries like defence. Apprentices will work on complex, low-volume projects, gaining a broad understanding of engineering from design through to final inspection. Duties include mechanical fitting, assembly, interpreting drawings, using workshop machinery, inspecting components, and assisting with testing. The ideal candidate has a genuine interest in engineering, strong problem-solving and communication skills, attention to detail, and is eager to learn and contribute to a skilled team.
