About the role
This apprenticeship offers a comprehensive training program for aspiring Machining Technicians at MAGELLAN AEROSPACE (BLACKPOOL) LIMITED. Apprentices will gain hands-on experience in setting and operating CNC machines, performing daily maintenance, and ensuring product quality. The role involves working with minimum supervision, promoting teamwork, and maintaining meticulous job records. Emphasis is placed on adhering to health and safety policies and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. Upon successful completion, there is a possibility of transitioning to a full-time permanent contract, subject to business needs.
Entry requirements
- GCSE English: 4/C, GCSE Maths: 4/C, BTEC Engineering: Pass. Strong communication, attention to detail, organisation, analytical, and teamwork skills are essential.
