About the role
ADRECO LTD is seeking an Apprentice Machinist/Toolmaker for a hands-on role within their Toolroom. This apprenticeship offers comprehensive training in maintaining, repairing, and modifying plastic injection mould tools. You will learn essential engineering skills including manual machining (milling, turning, grinding, drilling), bench fitting, precision measurement, and reading engineering drawings. The role also provides exposure to CNC, EDM, and CAD/CAM technologies. The ideal candidate will enjoy practical work, problem-solving, and understanding manufacturing processes. Successful completion can lead to a full-time Toolmaker position and a career in toolmaking, precision machining, or manufacturing engineering.
Entry requirements
- GCSE Maths: 5, GCSE English: 4, GCSE Science: 4, Strong Communication and Teamwork skills.
