About the role
This apprenticeship is ideal for individuals with prior experience in nursery or school settings who are passionate about childcare and early years education. The role involves providing engaging activities that promote learning and fun for children, supporting their development through planning and observations, and preparing/maintaining the environment and resources. You will also be involved in preparing food for children, supporting their self-help needs, and ensuring all safeguarding, health, and hygiene standards are met. Training will be provided to meet any changes in standards or legal requirements, including First Aid.
Entry requirements
- GCSE English and Maths at grade 4 or above. Strong communication, attention to detail, organisation, customer care, problem-solving, presentation, and teamwork skills are essential. Must be creative, demonstrate initiative, be non-judgemental, and patient.
